UFC middleweights Marvin Vettori, Kelvin Gastelum, and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager ganged up on the UFC star Conor McGregor after he commented on one of the top lightweight contenders.

The former two-division champion Conor McGregor might be inactive in the UFC lightweight roster, but he is very active on social media. The Irishman keeps himself in the headlines with his controversial tweets.

And recently he did the same by tweeting about the number six lightweight contender Beneil Dariush. While taking a jibe at the grappling protégé, McGregor wrote, “Beneil Dariush is the biggest nobody in the company.”

However, ‘The Notorious’ was unaware that he was lighting a spark that will catch him in the fire. McGregor’s comments on Dariush didn’t sit well with his fellow UFC fighters and even non-fighters.

First, it was the former middleweight title challenger Marvin Vettori who launched a verbal attack on the Irishman. What a b*tch @TheNotoriousMMA You couldn’t last 2 min with Beneil and that’s just a fact. You are scumbag, I hope to see you soon.” Vettori wrote while sharing MMA Fighting’s post on Twitter.

Later, McGregor’s old rival and former champion Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s manager Ali Abdelaziz also hopped on the thread. While taking a dig at the Irishman, Abdelaziz wrote,I hop in with you @beneildariush will kill this punk.”
