Till said, “Me and Khamzat were getting our food the other day and he looks at me and he’s got like his big UFC bag and he goes, starts just ruffling everything… So then the next day, I was coming out to like the changing rooms and I heard one fighter say to like his friend, ‘… I’ve been coming here every day now for the past weekend, there’s no drinks.”

But it turns out that Till was just pulling Chimaev’s leg with the answers he gave.

In a video released by ‘Frontkick.online’, Chimaev and Till got into a friendly banter about this story. As per Chimaev’s version, it was Till who put food in his bag.

Khamzat Chimaev said, “Yeah, you said it was me. .. He said ‘open your bag’. I opened the bag, he poof. So the everything. Not just the milk, brother. Everything from the kitchen. A lot of food, that’s different people’s food as well.”

Is Khamzat Chimaev Related to Khabib Nurmagomedov?

While ‘Borz’ made this revelation, Till couldn’t stop clapping his hands and laughing. So it looks like Till was caught red-handed after all. However, this is not the only time Till poked some fun at his friend. Both the fighters recently appeared on Ariel Helwani’s show a poked quite a bit of fun at each other.

Till revealed he is helping Chimaev train for his upcoming fight and also that he will be cornering him.

At UFC 273, Chimaev will be seen facing Gilbert Burns. This matchup will truly test Khamzat Chimaev’s skills as a fighter. Burns currently ranks at number two in the welterweight division, whereas Chimaev is at number 11. Thus, Burns will be his first highly ranked opponent and, perhaps, his toughest fight to date.

The 10-0-0 record holder has his undefeated streak on the line. If he defeats Burns, a title shot would not be that far. He is just four fights old in the UFC and already has a big following. Thus, his popularity will also be on the line.
