YouTubers like Jake Paul and Logan Paul have made it big in the combat sports scene, thanks to their huge following across social media platforms, especially YouTube. This YouTube effect has made many in the industry try their luck in content creation and one of the latest entrants is Khamzat Chimaev.

The Swedish sensation announced his new YouTube channel via a channel teaser video that he posted on his Twitter account. ‘Borz’ is actually very popular on social media with over 250 thousand followers on Twitter.

Similarly, his Instagram also has hordes of fans following him as he boasts of more than one million followers on the platform.

Currently, Chimaev has two videos on his YouTube channel. One of them was a channel teaser where the welterweight introduces his new venture.

“What’s up everybody, ‘Borz’ here. This is my new YouTube channel. Go in and check it out, subscribe. Smash everybody,” Chimaev says in the video.

Owing to his fan following the channel has already amassed tens of thousands of subscribers within just hours of its release.

In this day and age where content is the king, it is actually a great decision on Chimaev’s part. A YouTube channel is a perfect medium for interaction with fans. We have seen UFC superstars such as Jorge Masvidal and Sean O’Malley turning to the video-sharing platform to provide an even closer look at their lives to the fans.

Khamzat Chimaev joins Conor McGregor in a hilarious Twitter post

Khamzat Chimaev has a dislike for Conor McGregor, and that is no news. However, the Swede can be miserably random sometimes.

In a recent Twitter post, Chimaev shared a photoshopped image of himself with the ‘Notorious’ superimposed over Marvel Studios’ movie Spiderman: No Way Home’s protagonist characters. Here, Conor McGregor was supposed to be the Tobey Maguire version, whereas Chimaev was the Andrew Garfield Spiderman.

This post got hilarious reactions from his fans. Notably, fellow welterweight Belal Muhammad also retweeted the post with the caption, “When Khabib doesn’t answer your calls….”
