McGregor took to Twitter and said, “I feel this deep. I do not suggest bringing family whatsoever. Especially the children. This is different fighting. I’ve done both sides of this and feel going to the mission solo is best. You can see family again post-battle. Will definitely be continuing this way going forward.”

Khamzat Chimaev shares a similar opinion as McGregor

During a recent interview with ESPN, Khamzat Chimaev shared similar sentiments to Conor McGregor’s about bringing kids to fights.

The Chechen said, “Guys come with their kids, and Gilbert [Burns] came with his wife, kids,” Chimaev said, referring to his UFC 273 bout against Burns. “I don’t like it. Why do you take your kids and wife to the fight hotel, press conference… you take on the war, you don’t take your family in the war… I said that Gilbert was gonna cry after the fight, and he did that. I don’t need that.”

Kamaru Usman disagrees with Conor McGregor

The former champ said, “For me, it was like, F**k no. They don’t understand…they’re just in the low level of thinking to it…absolutely I’m going to bring her.”

Usman further added, “My daughter is not only going to see daddy victorious and daddy continues to beat everybody or… daddy’s gonna put her in the best school or whatever she wants to be, No! because I’m in a weird place where I’m trying to teach her… of what it takes to work hard.”
