Khamzat Chimaev reminds Dana White of his promise

Chimaev has set his eyes on one thing and that is the ‘185’ lbs gold. ‘Borz’ was supposed to be the frontrunner for the middleweight title shot as promised by Dana White but a sudden injury and skin infection took him away from the race altogether and now he wants Dana White to keep his promise.

While having a conversation with ESPN’s Brett Okomoto, Chimaev emphasizes that he does not care who will be his opponent, the only thing he cares about is the belt. “I don’t know who’s gonna fight them, else you know. So, Israel is out. It’s like, I don’t know when he’s coming back, 27, what is it, 2027 or something? Years, and all these guys fight each other. Only me, who is undefeated and undisputed, you know, 13 or all like, so I don’t know. ” said Chimaev.

The Emriti further calls out White to give him a title shot. He added “Well, they promised me after this fight, after Usman’s fight, you will for sure gonna fight for the title. And I win that fight, and I don’t know what’s going on. I hit some, Dana White says like, “I don’t think Khamzat for the next for the title,” and so that’s the bullshit, man. So if you promised me something, you have to answer forwards”

Khamzat Chimaev openly referred to himself as a prizefighter during his recent interview with ESPN’s Brett Okamoto. During their conversation, they delved into the UFC’s plans and the likelihood of him receiving the title shot he was promised. Although there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, Chimaev remains confident about two key points.

I beat them all, I make them scared. All the guys who is like nobody they calling me out. Nobody real nobody that beats nobody they come just come to the UFC they call me out you know. So this is not make sense, they don’t have a name, they can’t make no money with the Sheep Fighters you know, so if there’s some good fight, some big name, if they give me big money, so of course I don’t care about the f*cking belt.” said Chimaev.
