Khamzat Chimaev was poised to make his run for a title shot, but fate played the spoilsport for the undefeated fighter. A hand injury and skin infection sidelined him for a month, prompting Dana White to award the title shot at UFC 297 to the South African sensation, Dricus Du Plessis. Chimaev, in fury, made comments asserting that he should be the one in the fight as promised. This irked ‘Stillknocks.’
