Just a month away from their UFC clash, Khamzat Chimaev has issued a threat to his opponent Paulo Costa. In a short clip that is going viral on the internet, the Chechen said, “Paulo, you are a dead man! Just be sure to come up to the cage. Beat you up, send you back in the package to Brazil. This is not the first time that Chimaev has come up with such threats, with many other UFC fighters being his target. But this time, the feud is real! It all started when Chimaev called out Costa after his win over Li Jingliang at UFC 267. But Costa denied this challenge, citing his size advantage as the reason. A year later after this incident, the two men almost got involved in a brawl, just days before ‘Borz’s UFC 279 fight against Kevin Holland.

Now, after going back and forth for almost two years, it looks like Costa and Chimaev are ready to settle the business inside the octagon. And this warning adds fuel to the fire of an already bitter conflict. It is noteworthy that both men have been inactive for a while, with both fighters’ last fights concluded almost two years ago.
