Georges St-Pierre critiques Khamzat Chimaev vs Gilbert Burns

Khamzat Chimaev’s fight against Gilbert Burns was loved by many fight fans and was praised by Dana White. UFC legend Georges St-Pierre weighed in on the war as well.

“He needed this because he went through everybody a little bit like butter. I think you need some adversity sometimes and in the adversity, you get better and you improve. So I think it was a good fight for him.”

“I like to watch him fight, but I don’t think he fought the smartest fight…You need to prepare, to game plan, and to become the perfect nemesis for your opponent. You can’t always go in there and try to trade blows with someone like this,” said ‘Rush.’
