The reason cited was a medical condition that Perez suffered before the fight.

Muhammad Mokaev and Manel Kape were seen actively raising the points of the sacking of Alex Perez from the UFC flyweight rankings. The stats of #6 ranked Perez is going viral on social media with both the fighters sharing the image. Perez has 9 fights canceled out of 10 which raised the alarm.

Muhammad Mokaev wrote on Twitter, “Kick him out from the rankings!” Meanwhile, Manel Kape shared the image on his Instagram story, “9 fight that he cancel. Pu**y”.

Kape seemed highly disappointed as he was preparing to face Perez at UFC San Antonio. He becomes the latest victim of a cancellation of Perez’s bout. However, the reason might be a serious one this time as it is reported that Perez suffered from a seizure.

The fans made their opinions heard as they came out and reacted upon seeing the photo. They were of mixed opinions as some said Perez had a legitimate reason for backing out.
