Chris Curtis recently took to X, to share a heartbreaking incident involving a local child, urging the community to come together in support. The child, Rayan Kim, faced a life-altering moment on his way to school, resulting in severe injuries that have left his family in need of assistance.

In his post, Curtis stated, “Back on Twitter, because yet local kid was injured and just had his life changed in an instant as he made his way to school. This family needs help and support. Please take a look, help, and share if you can.”

Curtis also expressed his commitment to organizing fundraising efforts, including raffles for gear, to support Kim and his family during this challenging time. The outreach also extended to fellow MMA fighter Sean Strickland, as Curtis reached out stating, “I’m going to try to organize a few fundraising raffles for gear and who knows what else. @SStricklandMMA  I’m cashing in some bro points here.”

Details from the GoFundMe page shared by Curtis shed more light on the extent of Kim’s injuries, emphasizing the severe nature of the incident. The description outlined head injuries, fractures, and various traumas sustained during a bike ride to school.

The heartbreaking narrative serves as a rallying point for the community, showcasing the power of collective support in times of crisis. Curtis’ ongoing efforts to organize fundraisers while sharing the story only underscores his attempt at assisting a family going through a truly difficult time.

His return to social media also marks a significant moment as Curtis had removed his online presence after being caught in the crossfire between Sean Strickland and Ian Garry!
