Conor McGregor’s departure from the UFC left a dent in it. Fans expected to witness their favorite fighter grace the octagon but were stopped. The community got hope when Dana White proposed McGregor vs. Michael Chandler fights. It was supposed to happen at the end of this year, however, USADA complications got in the way.

USADA wanted Conor McGregor to go through a rigorous drug testing pool for six months to make an official comeback, this is the reason why McGregor now has to wait till UFC 300. In his most recent escapade, ‘Mystic Mac’ uploaded a series of photos of him in training sessions which left the fans even more intrigued.

Michael Chandler predicts that McGregor will headline UFC 300

Michael Chandler is the opponent Conor McGregor will face on his comeback and Chandler believes that McGregor can’t make a comeback without facing him and state that UFC 300 is the time when McGregor will ultimately make his return.

While having in conversation in ‘The MMA Hour,’ Chandler noted ” “My heart of hearts says the biggest fight we’ve seen in a very long time has to go down on the biggest card that the UFC is going to put together since UFC 200, since UFC 100. my gut says we might be waiting until UFC 300. Good thing I’ve got a lot of things to keep my busy, and I get an opportunity to train for Conor for a very long time.”
