“Knocked Out Pedro Munhoz, Knocked Out Petr Yan”: Sean O’Malley Boasts “Good” 2022 Campaign; Reveals Massive Marlon Vera Rematch Plan

Sean O’Malley, the UFC Bantamweight fighter, recently bragged about his 2022 career success. The 28-year-old fighter is too proud to have had a successful year. The Schmo recently featured ‘Sugar’ in a video interview. He boasted about his achievements while closing the year and also dropped a few of his future plans. O’Malley revealed his plans to fight Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling in the coming year. The American fighter also mentioned how he looks forward to a rematch with his past rival, Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera.

In the video, fans can see O’Malley bragging his way throughout the first two minutes. Even though the achievements are great, he is overconfident about his future fights in the year 2023. ‘Sugar’ definitely has his eyes set on the Bantamweight title.

What does Sean O’Malley have to say in his highness?

As the video opens, The Schmo keeps O’Malley busy for half a minute with the introduction. Then Schmo goes on to ask ‘Sugar’, “how would you summarize the sugar show for 2022?”

O’Malley then replies to the enthusiastic host, “knocked out Pedro Munhoz, knocked out Petr Yan. It was a good year for Sugar Show… Can’t complain.” The fighter is too proud of his achievements this year.

Sean O’Malley clearly looks forward to his fights with Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo. It is also pretty evident that he still hasn’t moved on from his defeat in 2020 at the hands of Marlon Vera. Consequently, he expects and wishes for a rematch.

Would O’Malley be able to successfully execute his future plans?

The confirmed fights for O’Malley in 2023 include Sterling and Cejudo. However, his rematch with Vera is just his wish and nothing more than that. Although it is not official, fans are still hoping to see a rematch. If ‘Sugar’ is able to climb up the ladder to the title fight, fans can expect what they are in for.
