The legend of Mirko Cro Cop

Take Mirko Cro Cop, for instance, one of the scariest fighters to walk into the cage. He was stoic and respectful, as well as incredibly powerful, quick and flexible. He was once described by Joe Rogan as having ” the eyes of a guy who has killed someone with a knife” and being “a real murderer”. And it is easy to see why.

In his prime, the Croatian kickboxer was a vicious killer, known for his vicious head kicks that alone got him 11 highlight-reel knockouts throughout his career. In fact, so effective were his high kicks that it was said of Cro Cop “”Right leg hospital; left leg cemetery”. As a result, he is considered one of the best kickers in the history of MMA. And when a recent video showing a 48-year-old practicing on the heavy bag surfaced, fans could not contain themselves.
