Fans react to insane flying armbar from Khabib Nurmagomedov

An old video of Khabib Nurmagomedov in a wrestling bout has emerged and has sent fans crazy. SK MMA on their Instagram account shared the old clip of ‘The Eagle’ performing a flying armbar on Islam Mamedov in a wrestling fight. Mamedov and Nurmagomedov were training partners in their careers.

However, Mamedov left the camp, which almost prompted Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov to retire. The video is reported to be taken a year after the incident where ‘The Eagle’ defeated Mamedov.

The post was captioned, “He did it in his beginning @khabib_nurmagomedov”. The fans couldn’t hold back their thoughts on seeing the old video of Nurmagomedov.

Nurmagomedov and Mamedov supported each other in their careers. Nurmagomedov cornered Mamedov in his professional MMA fights despite their reported differences in the past.

The UFC legend was seen cornering Mamedov in his loss to Benson Henderson at Bellator 273. However, Mamedov lost the bout via a split decision despite escaping the submission attempt.
