Also, Mauricio Rua also announced his retirement following his loss to Ihor Potieria. On the other hand, former UFC featherweight Champion Jose Aldo was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame into the Modern Wing class, and many MMA fighters congratulated Aldo on his achievement. Former UFC fighter, Thiago Santos, took to Instagram to pay tribute to these retired UFC legends.

Thiago Santos has always been an admirer of Glover Teixeira. He had previously heaped praise on the former UFC light heavyweight champion for capturing the UFC title at 42 years old.

Texeira also promised that ‘Poatan’ will be fighting in the light heavyweight division soon.
