The Grammy-winning rapper routinely wagers on major UFC matches. Drake isn’t concerned about losing his money. In prior UFC matches, he had a substantial quantity of money at stake. Drake’s forecasts don’t always pan out, though. Apparently, most of the fighters he chooses to back lose their fights and people bill it as the Drake curse.

It seems like the curse continued at UFC 278. According to the reports, the Canadian rapper lost $500,000, as he backed Kamaru Usman and Jose Aldo for the win on the main card.

Aldo lost the bout via decision. Meanwhile, ‘Rocky’ knocked ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ out cold in the fifth round of the bout. Both the fights cost Drake a huge sum. However, the new welterweight champion had advice for the rapper to revoke the curse.

The Canadian once promised to gift a Rolex to both lightweight Paddy Pimblett and female flyweight Molly McCann after they won him a lucrative sum of money at UFC Fight Night in London last month.
