On the receiving end of his opinion is non-other than Kamaru Usman‘s controversial manager Ali Abdelaziz.

Leon Edwards thrashes Ali Abdelaziz for his acts
Leon Edwards is slowly becoming a fan favorite. He has certainly done even more good to his name in his recent interview with Ariel Helwani. ‘Rocky’ spoke about the acts of Ali Abdelaziz in the interview and thrashed him for the same.

Edwards said in the interview, “I don’t know what’s wrong with him.” Furthermore, in a joyful yet criticizing manner, the UFC welterweight champion added, “He pretends like he’s the fighter, you know. He’s just a manager. Calm down. Let the fighters fight. You manage see you in the background. Let the guys do the thing. He pretends like he’s the fighter, you know.”

Edwards made a strong statement against the controversial manager. Moreover, Leon Edwards is definitely not to be seen as a fan of Abdelaziz. Likely so, as the controversial manager has had foul interactions with the UFC welterweight champion.

Ali Abdelaziz has been trash-talking ‘Rocky’ for a long time. Even before his second fight with Kamaru Usman, Abdelaziz tried to get under the skin of the UFC champion. A tweet of Abdelaziz from last year stated, “There is unfinished business with León Edwards, if Conor wants, Dana wants nothing will make me happier than seeing Kamaru put a hole in his head. @USMAN84kg @danawhite”
