Derrick Lewis arrested for reckless driving

Derrick Lewis finds himself ensnared in a web of legal complications mere days before his imminent bout. As per an ABC13 report, ‘The Black Beast’ underwent a brief detention, subsequently securing his liberty through a $100 personal recognizance bond. Lewis was apprehended for propelling his red Lamborghini at a speed of 136 miles per hour within a 50 mph zone in the city of Houston, Texas. His vehicular maneuvers were reported to be perilously weaving through lanes.

A court appearance has been slated for the 27th of December, and Lewis finds himself confronting a misdemeanor charge concerning his heedless operation of the vehicle. It should be noted that Lewis has a kick for speed and velocity. The reports suggested that ‘The Black Beast’ was clocking thrice the actual speed limit.
