In a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ Rogan and his guest, Brendan Schaub, discussed the Batman movies. It looks like both the personalities loved ‘The Batman’ that was recently released.

However, Schaub liked ‘The Dark Knight’ the best, but he loved the new one too. While Rogan agreed with his guest, he also felt like he sometimes needs to watch the other movies again.

Post this, they talked about other characters like Catwoman and the Riddler. However, the Spotify podcaster felt that there is a tendency to compare all the movies with the ‘Joker’ movie. He said, “The Joker movie was so f***ing good. And so creepy. … the recent one with Joaquin Phoenix. … That joker did so good, but it’s so creepy and such a good movie.”

As a result, Rogan went on to praise Todd Phillips and Phoenix for their work. He said, “Todd Phillips is f***ing nailed that movie. … and Joaquin Phoenix’s crazy as f**k. He’s so good. He must be insane. He must be like a absolute insane person. There’s no way he could be that good…”.

What Is Joe Rogan’s Workout Routine?

Rogan loves the movie in which Phoenix was featured, mainly because of how the character was portrayed. He felt the Joker’s character was believable and well-built. He compared it to the Riddler’s character mainly because there is not much background information about him.

Further, Rogan was of the opinion that if a new Batman movie with Joaquin Phoenix were to be made, it would be big.

Joe Rogan discusses the psychology behind the Joker

Because the Joker is such an interesting character, this is not the first time Rogan has discussed him. In an older episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, famous Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Jordan Peterson discussed the character.

As per Peterson, the character is so compelling mainly because he has had a difficult life which viewers can be sympathetic about. There is a lot of pain in the story. In addition to this, Phoenix, as an actor, adds grace and gives a stellar performance. This entire mixture thus led to an extremely memorable character.
