The former two-time Glory Welterweight Champion, Cedric Doumbe, put an end to the rumors of him signing with the UFC. Doumbe has already proven that he is a great athlete with a tremendous 45 knockouts in his eight-year kickboxing career. The UFC always makes sure that they have the best and most famous fighters on their roster. Hence, the 30-year-old signing with the UFC was a rumor the MMA community could easily swallow without thinking twice. However, it seems that the news was not true, and Doumbe himself has cleared the air. It is speculated that one of the reasons why the former Glory welterweight champion does not want to join the world’s biggest MMA promotion is money.

UFC has always been infamous for allegedly not paying its fighter fairly, and ‘Le Meilleur’ wants to explore other big organizations in the meantime that can offer him better. At the moment, the Cameroonian-born French fighter is moving forward with his MMA career with a record of four victories and zero losses. His last bout against Pawel Klimas at MMA Grand Prix: Paris helped him further solidify his TKO records. He won the bout two minutes and 56 seconds into the second round. However, all these achievements do not compel him to be a part of the UFC.
