UFC fighter and double-division champion Conor McGregor regularly gets into online and offline disputes. In the past, the fighter has called out and engaged in trash talk with many fighters regardless of their division.

McGregor’s back-and-forth with former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen is well-known. Both the fighters have fired at each other over the years and this bitter bickering does not seem like it will end anytime soon.

Yet again, Sonnen and McGregor have targeted each other. In an interview, Sonnen spoke about McGregor and made comments that did not go well with the Irish fighter.

In a video, McGregor was seen pacing in front of his television during Max Holloway’s introduction at UFC Vegar 42. ‘The Notorious’ squared off with Holloway through his television.

Speaking about the video, Sonnen said, “Conor is on the verge of being a little rich weirdo. It’s the last thing I wanted for him, but if you mark out to your own gimmick to this extent, he’s posting things and then he’s deleting them. I mean, I’ve got to give the troll effort 100%, as a former troll myself, I get it.”

Sonnen further said, “He’s got to heal himself. There’s talks of Dustin Poirier, but he smashed him twice. In all fairness, Conor is still a big draw, but he’s really working against himself. He’s being a weirdo. Is this what he wants with his identity? A guy that walks around with his shirt off, screaming at a television set?… In all fairness, when you were 22 years old, that was one thing. But as a husband and a father, you’re a bit of a dork.”

McGregor, of course, wasn’t too happy with Sonnen’s statements. Like always, he made sure to fire back. He wrote on Twitter, “says the little broke weirdo”.

‘The Bad Guy’ hit right back at McGregor and gave a stern warning. He told McGregor to stay off his radar and to apologize. However, McGregor wasn’t in the mood to heed any warning. He wrote on Twitter, “Just set up the tripod, in the corner of your boxroom, and tell your 2 views the promo code for the window sheen”.

The Twitter war between both has escalated to a great extent. Neither of them seems to want to take a step back.

McGregor is famous for his trash talk and witty lines and so is Sonnen. With both battling each other on Twitter, fans might come across some epic lines to remember after several years too. Previously, Sonnen loved trolling Jon Jones. Now, McGregor seems to be his new favorite.
