However, he has recently expressed his interest in coming out of retirement to fight the featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. Cejudo has many times requested Dana White for the fight.
However, in response, the UFC president addressed his demands ‘Silly’ in one of his interviews. This didn’t sit well with the Olympic gold medalist and he quickly took a dig at White, while also taking a sneaky jibe at the UFC star Conor McGregor.

Dana, I needed a break. Honestly, it was getting boring beating up TJ Pillashaw in under a minute and Dominick Snooze in 2. I got married, had a kid and am now rejuvenated. I wanna be 4C. If I beat up an old guy at a bar and learn how to Riverdance will you give me a shot? https://t.co/xdfPUZxwDM
