Being in the fight business for over a couple of decades, one may believe most friends of Dana White would be from the same industry. Well, that’s far from the truth. The 55-year-old UFC CEO has friends and acquaintances from various walks of life, from US President Donald Trump to the world’s richest man, Elon Musk. Recently, fans got to see him meet up with a new friend, the longevity enthusiast and bio-hacker, Bryan Johnson.

For the unversed, Bryan Johnson is an entrepreneur and a businessman who formerly owned Braintree, which was then acquired by PayPal. That acquisition was worth a mind-boggling $800 million, and now, Johnson has amassed a net worth of around $400 million. As we all know, Dana White has become a fitness freak since he found out that he only had a few years left to live back in 2022. He changed his life around for good. But perhaps nobody takes well-being and longevity as seriously as Johnson.

The former Braintree owner has become quite famous for his attempts to get into peak human condition and even achieve immortality. It might sound strange, but the 47-year-old has been able to achieve that goal to a certain extent, and he also established an anti-aging program called Project Blueprint. It appears that Johnson had a similar conversation about health, especially “longevity,” with Dana White when he visited the UFC headquarters in Las Vegas, along with discussions about the fight game.

“It’s been cool to watch [Dana White] build the [UFC] into a global phenomenon over the past 24 years,” Bryan Johnson wrote in an Instagram post. “Loved chatting with him about how longevity is now on a similar trajectory with professional rejuvenation athletes, complete with scoring systems, rankings, and competition.”

As we’ve mentioned already, Dana White turned his life around after taking steps to become a healthier person. He also spoke highly about the Superhuman Protocol by Gary Brecka, which he underwent to achieve his fitness goal. Bryan Johnson shared his take on this subject, and he didn’t seem sold on Brecka’s wellness program. Here’s what he had to say.

Bryan Johnson skeptical about Dana White’s Superhuman Protocol program

Bryan Johnson always believes in substantiation and proof of evidence. In his own Project Blueprint, the 47-year-old claims that they’ve done extensive research and found scientific evidence regarding longevity to set up his program. And while he praised Dana White on his transformation, Johnson wasn’t really sure of Gary Brecka’s Superhuman Protocol because it didn’t convince the bio-hacker since it came up short in his evaluation.

“What we did at Blueprint is we combed through all the scientific literature and we tried to find the best evidence for health span and lifespan increase… This is not to say they’re not legitimate, this is just to say it didn’t pass our assessment,” Bryan Johnson stated on his YouTube channel. “The power laws that drive our day-to-day consciousness—it’s sleep and diet and exercise—these are the hard things if we want to make a meaningful change in how we feel and how we look and what we’re trying to do in life.”

Dana White and Bryan Johnson may have had discussions surrounding their approach to fitness and well-being since that’s what the $400M worth of entrepreneur is famous for. It was certainly an unexpected collaboration, but it doesn’t come as a surprise since White has friends in almost every industry. What do you have to say about this meetup?
