After landing a few strikes, ‘The Future’ caught Williams with a beautiful right hook just before the end of the first round.

Many look at Garry as the second coming of another Irish MMA legend, Conor McGregor. In the post-fight interview after his win over Williams, he clarified that he has come to take over the division. According to Garry, his coming to the UFC is the takeover part 2.

In a recent conversation with UFC’s Megan Olivi, he talked about what his approach will be like. Garry didn’t hold back as he said, “I’m looking to beat the s**t out of people. I wanna fight three times a year every year and I wanna grow and I wanna beat people up and let them know that I’m here and I’m here to take over. I’m gonna take every single guy that I can on my rise to the top.”

The Irishman is currently undefeated in his professional career and has an 8-0 record. He would look to enter the octagon again at the earliest to raise his stock quickly. Garry seems to have garnered a lot of fans from his first performance. Hence, if he gets two or three impressive wins under his belt, a top fight might not be far from him.
