Most of them are given through his social media accounts and on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. The podcaster has been in trouble multiple times owing to his opinions. However, being in the news due to the wrong reasons hasn’t stopped him.

This time, the UFC commentator has shared his views on Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski‘s fight. The fans have bashed Rogan for his comments and understanding of the lightweight championship fight.

Fans react as Joe Rogan gives his verdict on the fight

The controversial podcaster wasn’t impressed with the judge’s decision in the main event of UFC 284. Although Rogan was not present at the event, he gave his verdict via his live podcast during the event. As reported by MMA Junkie, Joe Rogan said, “(Makhachev) lost that fight, I believe… It seemed to me that (Volkanovski) won three rounds”.

The fans gave their opinion on Joe Rogan’s statement. One fan said, “It’s one of the odd cases where Islam won the rounds and Volk won the ‘fight'”. Another fan added, “I love Joe, but thankfully he’s not a judge. He’s far to be biased for that. Love Islam and Volk but Islam took that by a narrow margin.”

Another fan commented, “Islam clearly won 1-2-4. Rogan us always biased. He disrespected Jan and now Islam.”

Similarly, one social media user added, “They said after thank god they weren’t judging cuz they saw they were wrong”. Furthermore, a fan added, “Idc that Islam won, i care that the judge scored 49-46, that us the pure reason Volk lost, Nothing else to it… It’s undeniable”.

One fan said, “So hard to call. Need to watch it back. Either way hell of a competition”. While another fan added, “If you think volk won you don’t know MMA”.

Furthermore, a fan gave details of how he thought the rounds went. He commented, “48-47 regardless of whichever fighter u think won. Islam definitely took 1 and 4. volk def took 5 and 2 if you ask me. All up yp who you think won rounds 2 and 3”.

Another social media user added, “I am a huge Volk fan and an Aussie and I know that Volk only won rounds 3 & 5.”

The fans were divided in their opinion too. However, many of them bashed the UFC commentator.

Alexander Volkanovski was praised by everyone

The UFC featherweight champion was praised by most of the UFC fans and community members. ‘The Great’ put up a tough fight against Islam Makhachev.

There were many former UFC fighters that praised Volkanovski and thrashed Makhachev. Nate Diaz sent a tweet bashing the winner of the fight.
