Michael Bisping had made some shocking revelations regarding testing of athletes before a UFC fight. The UFC Hall of Famer told Joe Rogan he was able to go through the testing process with a bad eye.

‘The Count’ has had problems with his right eye ever since his fight with Vitor Belfort.

Speaking to Joe Rogan on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, Bisping revealed the testing processes he had to get through to fight Georges St-Pierre.

Joe Rogan asked Bisping how did he pass his tests before the St-Pierre fight. Bisping said, “With great difficulty. Lying, cheating, bullsh*t codes. I f*cking lied to so many doctors.”

Bisping elaborated that he was in England doing work for BT Sport. “Dana was trying to help me out because looked like I wasn’t going to be fighting.”

When he decided to take up the fighting, he was told to see a doctor. “I had to do this test where you look into this thing and there’s all these lights. You know, and you push a button when you see the light pop up and I just f*cking, I passed it. I just f*cking guessed it.”

Later, Bisping described he passed another test because of his acting skills. Also, he told Rogan about the pre-fight medical examinations he had to clear.

When Rogan wondered how Bisping passed pre-fight tests, ‘The Count’ said, “They just didn’t check very good. I mean, I had a code with Parillo [Jason Parillo, Bisping’s coach].”

“… All they’ve got to do is look at that eye and say, ‘all right, how many fingers can you see?’ You know, so I said to Parillo so if he holds up one finger you go [one cough] if he holds up two yawn, whatever. If he holds up three, we just came up with these shitty codes…”

However, UFC President Dana White doesn’t think ‘The Count’ fooled the doctors.

‘The Count’ was always a hustler in the UFC. Bisping never really had a great run in the UFC; He was a perfect example of ‘The Journeyman‘ in the UFC. However, the losses never stopped Bisping as he always battled his way back.

In the final chapter of his career, ‘The Count’ fought and beat the greatest middleweight fighter of all time, Anderson Silva. At the time, that fight appeared as the best thing to happen to Bisping. It was his equivalent to UFC gold.

However, with a short notice fight, ‘The Count’ shocked the world against Luke Rockhold, and finally achieved his ultimate goal of getting his hand to a UFC championship. With a left hook, Bisping immortalized himself as a UFC champion.

Later, the world found out, ‘The Count’ achieved that with only one good eye.
