Magomed Ankalaev added to his win streak with a unanimous decision win against once light heavyweight title challenger Thiago Santos at UFC Vegas 50.

Magomed Ankalaev took control of the center of the octagon from the start and pushed Santos into the fence. The first round was a rather effortless one for both the counter strikers as each of them waited and tried to read their opponent, occasionally exchanging timed blows.

Santos upped the ante in the second round as he wobbled the Dagestani in the last minute. Ankalaev fell to the mat with a powerful shot from Santos after hitting ‘Marreta’ with a clean knee.
