The recently released trailer for the remake of 1989’s ‘Roadhouse’ has left everyone in quite a bit of a shock. The MMA fans who saw the trailer for the film saw a familiar face of none other than ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor in the trailer.

In the trailer of the film, the former double champ, Conor McGregor seemed to be playing the powerhouse for the main antagonist to Jake Gyllenhaal’s protagonist. Some of the fight scenes that fans caught a glimpse of in the trailer looked solid. Especially given that it was McGregor’s first ever time on the Hollywood screens.

Fans react to trailer of ‘Roadhouse’

Ariel Helwani posted the trailer of ‘Roadhouse’ on his social media account, which had fans giving out mixed signals to McGregor’s short clip on the trailer. Given that the ‘Roadhouse’ is a remake of the 1989’s Cult classic movie, ‘Roadhouse’ it is expected for the movie to have mild similarities with a modern take on the movie.

When will Roadhouse hit the screens?

Conor McGregor’s movie debut is set for release on March 21, 2024, on Amazon Prime. The Roadhouse reboot will feature Jake Gyllenhaal as an ex-UFC fighter, who takes up the job as a bouncer in a bar in Florida.

Despite the movie not making a release in theatres, a movie alongside a reputed actor like Gyllenhaal is definitely a good place to start in the Hollywood industry. If the film turns out as amazing as it looks in the trailer, there’s always a chance for the former UFC double champ to go into showbiz once he’s done with his career in MMA.
