“Make No Mistake They Are Not Looking Forward”- Conor McGregor Says He Will Settle Loss to Dustin Poirier Once and for All

The epic trilogy saga between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier just got more interesting. Currently, Dustin Poirier is on the winning side of the tally by a 2-1 margin. After winning a match in 2014, McGregor lost two fights back to back in the same year.

As we all know, “Notorious” is infamous for his trash talk and outraging tweets. He has revealed his disinterest in squashing this beef countless times. In one of his recent tweets, he hinted he will be back to settle it all. The Irish fighter responded to a clip of Dustin saying, “Make no mistake, they are not looking forward to what is coming. I will be back and it will be settled. Once and for all”

Conor McGregor’s plans and injury update

The 33-year-old lightweight is currently going through rehabilitation. He suffered a horrible injury during his last fight with Dustin Poirier. His ankle was making angles, a normal leg can only dream of. Besides his polarizing personality, he is infamous for never backing down from any beef. Despite his injury, many names have come up that are speculated to fight him. Most notably Michael Chandler and Dustin Poirier.

The Twitter feud between him and other fighters never seems to stop. Recently, Michael Chandler and McGregor were going after each other on Twitter. After losing to Justin Gaethje at UFC 268, both of the fighters verbally agreed to a fight in 2022.

As for Dustin Poirier, he just wants to settle the score once and for all.” The Diamond” will fight champion Charles Oliveira in the main event of UFC 269 on Dec. 11 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Few other names like Khamzat Chimaev seemed to call out McGregor as well. Despite being very fresh in the game, the 27-year-old Welterweight has eyes set on a big fight after recently defeating Jingliang Li on UFC 267. He is currently on a 9 win streak and has called out McGregor and Nate Diaz on Twitter.
