Jon Jones recently blasted his former coach

Jon ‘Bones‘ Jones, after his run-in with the law in Las Vegas, was suspended from his former gym. The decision was taken by his long-time coach Mike Winkeljohn. The duo had been together through the legendary run of Jones as a light heavyweight.

Winkeljohn first broke the news of suspending Jon Jones on The MMA Hour and said that he won’t be allowed back in the gym until he sorted out his personal life. After the news broke, Jones quickly responded by saying that he won’t be going back ever. Recently, he’s been training with Fight Ready with Henry Cejudo.

Jones recently took to Twitter and went after his former coach. In a now-deleted rant, he questioned his coaching; him harassing the other coaches and a lot of other things. According to him, Winkeljohn hasn’t taught a new technique in years and he was not training with him, anyway. If the former champ is to be believed, nothing has changed for him, as he’s still training with the same coaches.

It’s clear that the relationship between the two has ended.
