Conor McGregor’s presidential campaign has been stealing all the headlines lately. His path to the Irish presidency took off after he met Donald Trump, the 47th U.S. president, at the White House on St.Patrick’s Day. The former UFC double champ grabbed even more attention when Tucker Carlson dropped by his pub, Black Forge Inn, in Ireland. Now, things are getting even more interesting as the man with the highest IQ, Young Hoon Kim, just backed the Irishman’s presidential run.

The Irishman pulled up at Dublin’s Garden of Remembrance before an anti-immigration protest kicked off in the city center. His whole campaign has been pretty locked in on Irish values and immigration policies, so he showed up to provide support to back the cause. The Crumlin native dropped a video on his social media, talking to the people of Ireland, pointing to be respectful and united to build a better homeland. The video has garnered a lot of attention from the global audience.

McGregor captioned the post on X, “In the heart of sacrifice, I stand and speak for those who fought, and for those still fighting. Have a great, peaceful, and productive day, everyone! Let your voice be heard. The correct way.” The man with the world’s highest IQ, Young Hoon Kim, showed his support by replying under his post, “As the World’s Highest IQ Person, I support Conor McGregor to become the President of Ireland.”

Dr. Kim is a South Korean cognitive scientist, educator, and entrepreneur. He’s widely known for holding the world record for the highest IQ, measured at 276 as of 2024. According to his website, USIA, the record was verified by a bunch of groups, including the Official World Record, World Memory Championships, and the World Mind Sports Council, along with Guinness World Records. He’s also the founder and President of the United Sigma Intelligence Association. On top of that, he runs a YouTube channel and has a LinkedIn profile too.

Conor McGregor doesn’t just go all out in the Octagon. He’s been pushing hard to become the next president of Ireland, while doing what he does best, using his powerful speaking skills to connect with his countrymen. At the Garden of Remembrance, a memorial in Dublin for those who gave their lives for Irish freedom, McGregor showed real passion. In a recent X post, the former two-division UFC champ wrote, “Bravo People of Ireland.” He also addressed the issues at hand and urged everyone to stay calm and not spread hate among each other.

McGregor said, “We cannot let this regime label us and divide us. That’s what they seek. There’s no benefit to us clashing in the street. If you look at both sides, there were two rallies today, national rallies for Ireland. It’s a rally against the policies of this government which has impacted us deeply in our soul and too much souls to ignore anymore.

He added, “We do say no to racism, and we do rise up as a national rally to protest against these policies that have failed us as a country. So, it’s important for us to unite together as one. Hear each other out, we do not need to roar and shout. We need to be calm, speak clearly, and speak with compassion. We want to hear your voice together, our voice will be heard.”
