Khamzat Chimaev is one of the most dominant forces in the UFC right now. Judging from the way he’s fought up till now, many fans believe he’s going to be the next UFC champion. As of December 2021, Chimaev stands eleventh in the UFC’s welterweight rankings.

The Swedish Fighter has had an incredible impact on the UFC even though he’s had only four fights in the promotion. The most impressive thing about ‘The Borz’ is that he has won more fights in the UFC than he’s absorbed any strikes.

Ever since his win against Li Jingliang at UFC 267, Chimaev has been looking for his next opponent and has been calling out almost everyone.

In fact, he didn’t even wait till his fight got over. Chimaev picked up Li Jingliang in the middle of the fight and slammed him near Dana White. He then started shouting at White and demanded Brock Lesnar next for his next bout.

He also called out Nate Diaz in his post-fight press conference. But Diaz didn’t take up the fight. Apart from Diaz, Khamzat has called out Daniel Cormier, Georges St. Pierre, and Nick Diaz as well.

This time Chimaev took to his Twitter to call out another fighter on the roster for this next fight. He called out the pay-per-view king, Conor McGregor. Not only did he call Conor out, but he also picked a time for their fight.

A fight against Conor McGregor is a dream for any UFC fighter. If Khamzat lands a fight against the Irishman, it is guaranteed that he’ll earn a truckload of money via pay-per-view numbers itself. Knowing the hype both fighters bring, it’ll be one of the most exciting bouts the promotion has ever held.

After having one of the most historic fights against Nate Diaz, Mcgregor still holds beef with the Stockton native. Nate Diaz has only one fight left on his UFC contract and isn’t ready to use the last bout he has against Chimaev. On his official Twitter handle, Nate Diaz took a shot at Mcgregor and suggested that Conor should fight Khamzat instead.
