The entire fighting community was in shock when they heard the news about Mark Coleman’s fire incident. The community came forward in unison to pray for the well-being of the UFC Hall of Famer. Among those who prayed for him was the ‘BJJ’ goat, Gordon Ryan. ‘King’ posted several photos of Coleman along with a long caption asking people to keep the UFC star in their prayers but seems like it backfired on him.

Gordon Ryan is not having it with the MMA community

Gordon Ryan was one of the first few elites of the MMA to respond to Mark Coleman’s news. The ‘BJJ” world champion took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of Coleman in the hospital with a caption that read  “@markcolemanufc can’t catch a break. 1st, his hip needs surgery, and then he gets it infected. As he’s making his recovery, he finds himself in a house fire which he carried his parents out of, but ended up in ICU in the process. I’ve been friends with Mark for a few years now after meeting him in 2019 at a quintet in Vegas.”

The photo seems to be a bit personal for the family members, and the fan͏s lashed͏ out at ͏him for posting it. One fan͏ even wrote that Ryan should take down the photo and should have some moral͏ity regarding what to post ͏and what not to post. Hours after that, Coleman’s family members took the same photo to ͏create a ‘GoFundMe’ ͏page, ͏which seemed to have irked Gordon Ramsey towards his fans.

Ryan took to his Instagram handle to share a photo of the ‘GoFundMe’ page on his story and wrote “Remember when I posted this photo yesterday? And instead of everyone just liking it, they attacked me for posting a photo of him? Even though Mark actively posts his worst day alcoholism photos, openly talks about his demons, and posted almost the same exact picture. You people missed the point completely and you should die”

Ryan’s anger is justified considering that he had no malicious intent from the post and just wanted everyone to keep Coleman in their prayers and yet fans bombarded him to take down the photo. Some even threatened him with legalities. However, everyone’s prayers seem to be working as Coleman is now conscious but still in danger.
