In a video shared on YouTube by Full Mount MMA, they reported that Marlon Vera’s house was allegedly broken into and robbed before his fight at UFC 299. According to information shared by the channel, the news came to light through screenshots on social media. The images were allegedly shared online by ‘Chito’s wife, Maria.

The screenshot on display in the video contains the text, “We will find you motherf**ker” and shows an image from what appears to be security camera footage. Another screenshot in the video contained a full-text response.

According to the translation provided in the clip, the text reads, “…last night there was a robbery, they broke into our house. Although they are material things, they are things that have been bought with a lot of effort and hard work. But hey these types of things happen for a reason and the truth is tonight will be a good one. Tonight the gold belt will be ours, god with us. To the person who did it, I hope he really needed the money for something important. Much love.”

Vera also posted an image of a broken door and lock from his home on his Instagram story and captioned the post, “The f**king a**h*le that broke into my home I’m gonna find you”. The break-in serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability athletes face, even amidst their rigorous training and competition schedules.
