The former bantamweight title challenger is currently on a three-fight losing skid and would like to get back to winning ways. Once considered as a future champion in the bantamweight division, Moraes is currently 1-4 in his last five fights.

His only win in those fights came against Jose Aldo via split decision. He last entered the octagon at UFC 266, where he took on Merab Dvalishvili. ‘Magic’ lost that fight via TKO in the second round.

Yadong, on the other hand, is on a two-fight winning streak. ‘The Kung Fu Monkey’ is coming off an impressive second-round TKO win over Julio Arce at UFC Fight Night 197. He is currently 7-1-1 in the UFC, with his only loss coming at the hands of Kyler Phillips.

Many hail Yadong as the next big thing in the division. Moraes is definitely going to be his toughest test to date, and if he can get a win, he will be right in the mix to fight the top 5 fighters.

Massive light heavyweight fight to take place at UFC Fight Night 204

Along with Moraes vs. Yadong, another huge fight that has been announced for UFC Fight Night 204 is Thiago Santos vs. Magomed Ankalaev.

The number 5 and 6 ranked light heavyweights will take on each other in an important fight for the division. Santos, who is a former light heavyweight title challenger, has fallen off the grace a little. After going on a four-fight win streak, Santos challenged Jon Jones for the light heavyweight title. He lost the fight via unanimous decision and lost his next two fights as well.

However, ‘Marreta‘ got back to winning ways after beating Johnny Walker at UFC Fight Night 193. He would want to put on an impressive performance to get back in the title picture.

Magomed Ankalaev is a man on a mission. After losing his first fight in the UFC, the Russian has gone on to win seven fights in a row. He last entered the octagon at UFC 267 and put on an impressive performance against Volkan Oezdemir.

According to many, he is the next big thing in the division, and a win over Santos will only make his case stronger. A strong showing against a former title challenger will put him right in the mix for a title shot.
