YouTuber Jake Paul is set to fight former UFC welterweight Ben Askren in a boxing match on April 17th. Paul has riled up many in the MMA community with his recent antics for the sake of gaining attention from fighters. Marvin Vettori is the latest to be fed up of those antics.
“This Jake Paul bullsh*t is so disrespectful to all the real fighters
F*ck whoever is always trying to take shortcuts especially in this game
Hope I had the chance to punk this bitch in any training or fight
Blood sweat and tears is what this game is about and he’s none of this,” Vettori wrote on Twitter.

Vettori isn’t the first fighter to take shots at Paul. Fighters like Dillon Danis and more have been victims of Paul’s rants as well.
The YouTuber is looking to make money by boxing non-boxers inside the squared circle. But he goes too far in terms of disrespecting an individual.
Fighters like Vettori put their energy, time, and more into the game. Sacrifice is what takes them to the stage that they find themselves on. So, it’s natural that he wasn’t too amused.
Nevertheless, the whole MMA community will be rooting for Ben Askren when he goes up against Paul. But many have counted out Askren as the underdog, considering how striking is not his strongest trait.
What’s next for Marvin Vettori?
‘The Italian Dream‘ had a solid 2020. He managed 2 wins over Karl Roberson and top contender Jack Hermansson. He has certainly propelled himself to the cream of the crop of the 185 lbs division of the UFC. He is expected to face Darren Till in April in the main event of a UFC Fight Night card.

Vettori entered the UFC in 2016. He has lost only twice in the organization. One of them being a split decision loss against current champion Israel Adesanya. Vettori believes he deserves another shot at ‘Stylebender‘ as he was the fighter to drag the champion to the deepest waters to date.
