One of the fights that had the fight fans on the edge of their seats at UFC 300, was the fight for the BMF belt, between Max Holloway and Justin Gaethje. While the event had pretty fun-packed fights, the BMF title fight tops it all. The shocker was, of course, the final second knockout, with Holloway becoming the new owner of the BMF beltAlthough Holloway was outstriking Gaethje in every round, ‘The highlight’ didn’t stop kicking. In a recent talk with Joe Rogan on his talk show, JRE MMA Show, ‘Blessed’ revealed that his shin was still hurting from Gaethje’s powerful kicks.

During episode #155 of JRE MMA Show, the newly crowned BMF and Rogan talked about bone injuries, which inevitably led the commentator to ask about Holloway’s left shin. Needless to say, both of the fighters exchanged a significant amount of blows in the Octagon. However, with Gaethje’s power-packed kicks, Holloway couldn’t walk out safely. He seemingly bruised his shin bone.

Replying to Rogan, ‘Blessed’ said, “Brother, my left shin, it’s alright now. But they hurt, bro. I was about to talk about it bro. This guy kick hard as s**t. And his bo- the way his bones… I don’t know what it was made out of. But I think so titanium. Like I like to say my, my chin is made out of vibranium, brother. He had vibranium leg, bro. I was like, he went to Wakanda 2, I was thinking to myself. Like, how? I thought I only even got to go to Wakanda. I guess he went, too, you know. But, you know, at the end of the day, bro, it hurts. Like, I still, my, my shin is still bruised. It feels good. I can move. I move it, whatever it is, like stiff after the fight in there.”

Gaethje does have the ability to kick his opponents’ legs. Rogan even claimed that the former BMF’s hips were so flexible that he could send kicks without having to step back. This made him one of the most dangerous fighters to face in the Octagon. Even Holloway seemed to think that he was the one to sleep on the canvas.

During the conversation, Rogan asked the guest for his opinion on getting dropped by Gaethje in the fourth round, which surprisingly didn’t count as a KO. The BMF replied, “It didn’t count as a drop, which is crazy,” he said. “ESPN is like posting it saying like in however many fights I didn’t get dropped. That’s some bulls**. I’ll take it, you know what I mean. But I wouldn’t be a man sitting here and telling you [I didn’t get dropped].”
