The lightweight fighters, Nazim Sadykhov and Terrance McKinney, went against each other with nothing but determination at UFC Vegas 77. However, only one could emerge victorious. Sadykhov defeated McKinney in the second round via submission (RNC).

The fight between Sadykhov and McKinney marked the beginning of the main card at UFC Vegas 77. The fighter from Azerbaijan looked to maintain his 8-win streak, while ‘T-Wrecks’ wanted to prove himself after losing to Ismael Bonfim via a flying knee.

The fight began with an instant clinch as McKinney decided to take control of the fight from the very first moment. The two rolled around with ‘T-Wrecks’ attempting a rear-naked choke. However, Sadhykov wasn’t one to give in that easily. With one arm wrapped below Sadykhov’s chin, McKinney kept sending punches from time to time. After a bit of struggle, Sadykhov displayed his skills. He switched positions and escaped McKinney’s hold, moments before the first round ended.

After grappling through the first round, the duo began round two with some strong strikes. But soon, it was Sadykhov’s turn to take control. He took down his opponent and controlled his back. With a spectacular rear-naked choke, Sadykhov made McKinney tap out in the second round.

As expected, the fight garnered quite a lot of attention from the world of mixed martial arts.

Although the fight began with McKinney in control, it surely didn’t continue in his favor. The fans took to Twitter and expressed their opinion on the fight. One of the fans believed that McKinney was a fraud.

Furthermore, the fans didn’t step back from pointing at McKinney’s downfall.
