“Me vs You” – Jan Blachowicz Calls Out Jiri Prochazka After Watching His Spectacular KO Victory Over Dominick Reyes at UFC Vegas 25

Jiri ‘Denisa’ Prochazka, the former Rizin FF light heavyweight champion, got his second UFC victory with a spectacular KO at UFC Vegas 25 against Dominick Reyes. This KO triumph had a tremendous impact on the MMA community. It was so impactful, that the UFC light heavyweight champ, Jan Blachowicz, shared his reaction. 

Blachowicz, who was extremely impressed, expressed his desire to fight the Czech fighter. ‘The Polish Power’ wrote, “Hey. @jiri_bjp. Me vs. you in Cieszyn. Prince vs. Samurai. Sword vs. Katana. #LegendaryPolishPower”.

After this spectacular KO victory, Prochazka may just have made himself the undeniable no.1 pick as the potential challenger for the light heavyweight title. Hence, ‘Denisa’ might be the one to be preferred to fight the winner of UFC 266’s title fight between Jan Blachowicz vs. Glover Teixeira.

The current UFC light heavyweight champion, Blachowicz, has an impressive professional MMA record of 28-8-0 (W-L-D). Out of his 28 victories, 17 (8 T/KO, 9 submissions) of them have come via finishes. 

Furthermore, the Polish champ is the only fighter to beat Israel Adesanya in a professional MMA fight. Blachowicz successfully defended his title for the first time via a spectacular unanimous decision win over Adesanya at UFC 259.

Meanwhile, Jiri Prochazka, the former Rizin FF light heavyweight champion, has a remarkable professional MMA record of 28-3-1 (W-L-D). ‘Denisa’ has claimed 27 finishes (25 via T/KO). Hence, he can stake his claim as one of the best knockout artists in the sport’s light heavyweight division.

Prochazka has only had two fights in the UFC. In his first fight, he beat the former title challenger, Volkan Oezdemir, via KO on Fight Island.
