UFC 300 will see a few fighters walk out to the Octagon with a brand new look. Ahead of the pay-per-view this Saturday, the UFC revealed custom kits for a few fighters for one of the most important events in the promotion’s history. Light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, strawweight champion Zhang Weili, former featherweight champion Max Holloway, and BMF champion Justin Gaethje were the four fighters who received custom shirts from Venum.

The images were subsequently removed from Venum’s website, but before that happened, these shorts were announced to be a part of their ‘UFC Adrenaline Unrivalled‘ collection. Let’s take a look at what the custom kits meant.

The custom shorts were presented to the four aforementioned fighters to hype up the UFC 300 event. Venum wrote on their website: “The four unique fighters represented across this collection, each known for their unrivaled talent and global contributions to the sport, are set to perform on the best fight card ever assembled.” Firstly, Alex Pereira was given custom shorts that had the design of a tribal print reminiscent of his roots in Brazil. Then, it was Max Holloway who captured the fan’s attention with a floral design in his shorts. It resembled the lushness of his native land of Hawaii.

On the other hand, Strawweight champion Zhang Weili received one of the most beautifully designed kits from Venum. Her shorts are red and have dragons printed all over them, which represent wisdom and strength in Chinese culture. When it comes to Justin Gaethje, he received black-colored shorts with the American flag print, resembling his nationality. While these four stars got custom shorts, another former champion got a special edition kit from Venum as well.

Despite some fans’ dislike for the main event, UFC 300 has been dubbed to be the greatest card of all time. That could be a stretch, but the caliber of fighters on the card makes it hard to dispute that the PPV won’t be full of big moments. It remains to be seen how things will go down this Saturday as the UFC is set to make history.
