The noted UFC legend, Nick Diaz, made his way into the promotion in 2003. But he moved on to Pride FC once more in 2007, when his brother Nate Diaz entered the UFC. But destiny had the older Diaz return to the UFC octagon in 2011, which had both the Diaz brothers fighting under the UFC for the first time. But there are a few other examples of such incidents as well. The former UFC flyweight champ, Valentina Shevchenko, also packs a similar story. She also has her older sister, Antonina Shevchenko, fighting in the same division of the UFC. However, fans had hoped to witness a pair of stepbrothers fighting under the UFC, but they haven’t materialized as of now.

The noted UFC light heavyweight, Johnny Walker, is currently one of the strongest contenders for the divisional title. It’s quite apparent that he will look to extend his 3-fight win streak with a triumph in his upcoming UFC 294 bout scheduled for October 21, 2023. It will get him a lot closer to his target of UFC light heavyweight gold. After looking at the bond between the Diaz brothers, it can be safely said that it’s quite hard for one brother to stay apart from the other and fight for different promotions. This also might be the reason behind Johnny Walker’s wish to see his stepbrother Valter Walker in the UFC as well.

Although Valter and Johnny aren’t siblings like Nick and Nate Diaz. It can’t be said that the bond between them is weaker than that between the Diaz brothers. Johnny often shares good wishes prior to his brother’s fights via his Instagram account. But Valter would’ve already made his UFC debut by now if things went as planned. The UFC had their eyes on him for a long time and also signed him sometime in June this year.

Until mid-July, announcements also started coming out about Valter’s debut. ‘MMA Junkie’ reported that the UFC authorities scheduled his debut for a UFC Fight Night event in the month of September against Jake Collier.

But looking at the current date, most fans already realize that those plans fell flat. However, the authorities never revealed any clear reason for removing Valter from the bout. They replaced him with the noted former UFC welterweight champ, Kamaru Usman’s brother, Mohammed Usman. Hence, it won’t be wrong to say that a large chunk of fans are now awaiting his UFC debut pretty eagerly.

Valter Walker’s Age, Height, Reach, and Gym

Well, the stats of Valter Walker, also known as ‘The Clean Monster’, may cause a lot of fans to think that the UFC wanted to feature his debut on a PPV card. This was probably the reason behind the UFC authorities taking him out of his scheduled debut in a September-based UFC Fight Night event. But the two brothers, Johnny and Valter, don’t represent the same country while fighting.

The 25-year-old trains out of ‘Gor MMA’ situated in Moscow, Russia. Hence, it’s no wonder that Valter chooses to represent the country of Russia during his fights. ‘The Clean Monster’ stands at a massive 6’6″ (1.99 m) tall and usually fights in the heavyweight division. However, none of the sources could detail his reach.

Valter Walker’s MMA record and undefeated streak

Valter has been dominating his opponents since the very first time he entered a professional MMA cage. The 25-year-old stepped into the MMA cage for the first time on October 4, 2020. He also earned a superb KO victory over his opponent in the very first stanza. But pretty few fans would have thought that he would keep winning for the next three years without even a single defeat.

Valter hasn’t lost any of his 11 professional MMA fights to date in his career, as he currently holds an undefeated record of 11-0. Most fans might label him a KO artist, as he has achieved six of his eleven victories by KO or TKO.

A shocking back and forth between brothers Johnny Walker and Valter Walker

Prior to Valter’s fight against Ramadan Mohamed on March 18, this year, he started taking Instagram jibes at his older half-brother Johnny. Although most fans realized that the two were goofing around, their jibes at each other didn’t look like that. The incident also caused massive headlines in the MMA community.

However, the younger Walker shocked fans when Johnny showed up for his fight in Egypt on March 18. The 25-year-old earned a comfortable victory in the bout against Mohamed. But Valter chose to take down Johnny, who also joined him inside the cage during the official result declaration of the fight.

‘The Clean Monster’s’ teammates attempted to separate them as well. But the smiles from both the Walker brothers got caught on camera. They made the fans realize that this was also a session of the two brothers goofing around, although this time it was in the real world and inside an MMA cage.

But Valter will have to leave all of this aside and focus on his game for his next bout, which is also going to be his UFC debut. After all, his rival, Magomed Ankalaev, has also been in UFC light heavyweight title fights. Do you think Johnny Walker’s half-brother will maintain his undefeated streak even after his debut at UFC 294?
