He has never talked about his longtime girlfriend-turned-wife, but there are some sources who seem to have an idea about Mikhala Renee Newman’s educational background. According to popular belief, Smith’s wife attended the Lutheran Liberal Arts University, which is located in the Nebraskan city of Fremont. 

During her time at the Fremont-based university, Newman graduated with a degree in nursing. Apart from her studies, her awesome volleyball skills also gained her entry into the college volleyball team.
