Merle shifting allegiances to get back at Pereira?

Alex Pereira’s ex expressed her excitement about Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya’s potential matchup. On her Instagram page, she analyzed the Strickland and Du Plessis fight, highlighting Du Plessis as the winner. In her post’s conclusion, she emphasized that a fight between Adesanya and Du Plessis should be the main event at UFC 300. “So, what’s next, guys? What wants Izzy ? And I really want Izzy vs. Du Plessis for UFC 300. Izzy is a fu****g businessman. This guy is just focused on business, and he knows how to make business. So what is better than a fight? “

She further added, “UFC 300 main event for the middleweight title, again between Du Plessis and Izzy. After all the story they had, like they were training in the past two years, Du Plessis was talking shit about Izzy. Then they met again in the octagon right last year, they had this sh*t talk. So now it’s time for a main event, UFC 300, Israel Adesanya against Dricus Du Plessis.”

What is interesting is that Alex Pereira is reportedly trying to headline the UFC 300 event and Merle’s sudden support of Pereira’s arch-rival just after the breakup is a bit perplexing. What’s your opinion on this? Tell us in the comments below.
