English UFC phenomenon Paddy Pimblett just had a new fight announced for the premier promotion’s second venture into London in 2022. However, fans were nothing short of brutal as they mocked ‘The Baddy’ for his recent weight gain.

Pimblett went up against ‘Kazula’ Vargas at UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Aspinall and mesmerized the home crowd with a first round submission after a cracking judo slam on his opponent. Now, the UFC has upped the ante for the Liverpudlian and has pitted him against ‘The Monkey King’ Jordan Leavitt.

However, the thing that fans were most concerned about was how Pimblett was going to cut weight after ballooning over 200 pounds. And they weren’t kind about it.

Fans continuously reminded Pimblett that now it’s time for him to get serious about the fight and cut some weight.

A fan even jokingly pointed out that the size at which Pimblett currently is, the fight might as well be in the middleweight division.

And then there were some who would just bring on the overused ‘Paddy the Fatty’ jibe to show their hate for the English superstar’s hairstyle and accent.

But support for the Liverpudlian was never short as fans commented that Pimblett was going to literally ‘eat’ Leavitt.

But the question remains, can Paddy Pimblett cut weight in time for UFC London 2.0?

Why does Paddy Pimblett gain so much weight after fights?

The weight gain after UFC London wasn’t the first time Pimblett bloated up so much. After his UFC debut against Luigi Vendramini at UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs Till, Pimblett gained weight just like he has presently and faced the same type of criticism.

However, the distinguished mixed martial artist doesn’t care about such comments, as he loves himself some cheat meals after winning fights.

In the post-fight presser of UFC London, Pimblett ate a whole pizza and told media persons that instead of controlling his diet, he would rather be ‘fat and happy’.
