Michael Bisping and Daniel Cormier are great friends and have great respect for each other. They have commentated together at UFC events and have achieved a lot inside the octagon.

Bisping is a former UFC middleweight champion. He came through The Ultimate Fighter and worked his way to a title shot. ‘The Count’ got his shot at UFC 199, where he knocked out Luke Rockhold to claim the belt. Cormier, on the other hand, is a former two-division UFC champion. He is one of the greatest to ever do it in MMA.
However, recently Bisping disagreed with a comment made by Cormier. During the DC & RC show, Cormier said that Jon Jones will not win the heavyweight title. According to Bisping, Cormier is letting his history with Jones cloud his judgment.
He said, “DC has also shared the octagon on two occasions with Jon Jones, so you get to know that person. You get to know them very, very well. But because he does have that history and because they don’t like one another, I believe that maybe that’s skewing the judgment of DC just a little bit here.”

“Jon Jones is out there. Jon Jones is one of the best to ever do it, so to say that he can’t come back after this time and beat those guys, I don’t think I agree. I don’t think I agree. I’m not saying he is gonna win, but to say that he just has no chance, I don’t think that’s right.”
What did Daniel Cormier say?
Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones had one of the bitterest rivalries in UFC history. There was genuine animosity between the two and that showed in the build-up to their fights.
In a recent episode of the DC & RC show, Cormier presented a top 5 list of his predictions for the UFC in 2022. One of his predictions was that Jones will fight for the heavyweight title but lose. He said, “I believe that Jon Jones will fight at heavyweight and he’ll fight for the belt. But he’ll lose, to Ciryl Gane or Francis Ngannou. And I just think that the time away, with the weight difference and those guys being who they are, that’s the problem.”
“It’s not that Jones has gotten worse, it’s just that these guys are a different level of heavyweight,” he added.
