In the second fight on the night, Philip Rowe took on Jason Witt in a welterweight clash. It was slated to be a war and battle of styles, and it didn’t disappoint. Witt was always going to grapple more against a striking heavy Rowe and that’s what he did.

He dominated his opponent on the ground in the first round and landed multiple takedowns. However, Rowe kept the damage to a minimum and bounced back in the second. ‘The Fresh Prince,’ after getting in the fight, landed a sweet combination on the feet that sent ‘The Vanilla Gorilla’ crashing to the floor.

This was his second win in the UFC and he definitely put on an impressive display. However, it was not the fight itself that got the MMA community talking the most. During the post-fight interview, Michael Bisping, after he was done with the questions, left Rowe hanging. The fighter played it cool, but by then, the damage was done.

The trolling will not stop, but Rowe put the division on notice. He handled the grappling of Witt and finished the fight when it went to the feet. ‘The Fresh Prince’ definitely has the power to put a stop to a fight. It will be interesting to see how the UFC books him next.
