Ahead of this, McGregor has threatened to pull out of the trilogy fight. This situation came to fruition because of a donation dispute. McGregor was going to donate $500,000 to Poirier’s charity, The Good Fight Foundation. However, the donation was not made, and the pair went back and forth on social media.
