Michael ‘Venom’ Page is looking for his next destination, as he currently sits as a free agent. Page last fought in the Bellator in March 2023, where he defeated his opponent via a TKO. Now, fans are expecting the MMA veteran to make the jump in the ship of the UFC. A few weeks ago, his name popped up on the official UFC website, triggering wild reactions from all fans.
However, his deal with the UFC has not been publicized yet. Recently, he appeared in a candid interview on the ‘Freestylebender’ YouTube channel. There, he talked about everything from his past experience to his future opportunities. However, one intriguing comment made by him set off a bold reaction from an undefeated UFC fighter.

In his conversation, Page talked about how he only wants to fight the elite-tier contenders. “I want top 5, top 10 max”. According to the MMA veteran, he has a rich record and does not need to build his way up from the bottom once again. “I don’t think I need to prove myself all over again,” the 36-year-old said.

Soon, this statement got a response from the undefeated UFC star Shavkat Rakhmonov. On his ‘X’ account, Rakhmonov posted a short message that can be clearly deemed as an open challenge. “How about #6?” he wrote, tagging ‘Venom’ with his tweet.
