Meet Gina Amir, Michel Pereira’s wife

According to information available online, Michel Pereira’s wife, Gina Amir, is a celebrity jeweler and has her own store of luxury jewelry in California. She began her journey in the world of diamonds and jewelry at the age of 14 in Europe, and 5 years later, at age 19, secured a gemology license.

She then began a successful jewelry store in Germany, but later expanded and relocated to the United States to grow her business and make her mark in the world of high-end jewelry. On her website, it states, “Gina’s greatest joy is to make every woman feel like the elegant, valuable treasure they are.”

Through her store and her creations, Amir continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of high-end jewelry, bringing beauty and sophistication to those who adorn her pieces. Balancing the spotlight with her thriving business, Gina Amir has carved a niche for herself in the fashion and luxury space, supporting Pereira’s wild Octagon career every step of the way!

How many kids does Michel Pereira and Gina Amir have?

Michel Pereira and Gina Amir are the proud parents of a baby boy. Born on 15 October 2022, he celebrated his first birthday when Pereira faced Andre Petroski at UFC Vegas 81 in 2023.

Her comments could be highlighting Pereira’s victory over Petroski in his return to the 185 lbs division on the night. After dropping his opponent with a straight punch, ‘Demolidor’ followed up with vicious ground strikes to close out the show in the first round, providing a unique birthday memory for his son and family.

What happened between Gina Amir and Jorge Masvidal?

The controversy surrounding Michel Pereira, Gina Amir, and Jorge Masvidal began after Pereira secured a win over Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC Vegas 55 in 2022.

After securing a split-decision win, at the post-fight interview, Pereira was asked who he’d like to fight next, and he claimed Masvidal is a name he’d be interested in due to a ‘personal’ issue between the two.

He stated, “He (Masvidal) sent an emoji to my wife, the emoji with the two hands together like ‘amen.’ He sent it to my wife. He didn’t send it to me. I’ve never actually crossed paths with him. I didn’t have a chance to ask him, so I figured I really want to understand. But I might as well understand inside the Octagon, settle it over there.”

This led to ‘Gamebred’ responding by sharing a screenshot of a DM that he claimed he had received from Pereira’s wife in the first place, and he just replied to her message.

In a post made on X, Masvidal stated, “How crazy a world and how far has society fallen that this idiot @UfcPereira would use his wife  to hopefully 1 day get a paycheck and create a fake narrative to try and get a fight with me when clearly he sees she slid in my dm?”

To calm the storm, Gina Amir took to social media and clarified the situation. She explained that the message came from her business account, which is used by multiple people. “This is not even the way I would speak,” she wrote, adding that the message was from before she even knew ‘Demolidor’.

She ended her statement by asking for respect and privacy. Though the spat never escalated beyond words, it reminded fans that real lives exist beyond the social media screenshots—and misinterpretations can travel far in the world of MMA.

With that in the past, Michel Pereira’s focus is now on Abus Magomedov, the man who’ll be standing across the cage from him on UFC on ESPN 66 in Kansas City. The Brazilian will look to bounce back after his most recent loss to Anthony Hernandez, a fight that snapped an impressive win streak. With his family cheering him on, and the support of wife Gina Amir and their young son, Pereira steps back into the spotlight—not just to entertain, but to remind fans why he’s more than a flashy striker!
