Miesha Tate’s “Eyeconic” Image at Yankees Stadium After UFC ABC 3 Battering Goes Viral

Former UFC bantamweight champion, Miesha Tate, triggers reactions from the fight fans with a picture at the Yankees stadiums after her gruesome battle at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

‘Cupcake’ returned to action last weekend and took on the number three ranked flyweight fighter, Lauren Murphy, on the main card of UFC ABC 3. Apparently, this was Tate’s debut in the flyweight division.

However, Tate’s flyweight debut was spoiled by ‘Lucky’ after she battered her for the whole three rounds. Although the former champion exchanged a few blows of her own, she couldn’t get through Murphy.

‘Lucky’ dominated most of the round by displaying outstanding striking skills and take-down defense. Finally, she took home a unanimous victory, leaving Tate all bruised up after the fight.

However, despite the injuries after the gruesome battle, ‘Cupcake’ attended the New York Yankees game and also posted a picture of herself from the stadium. Tate can be seen wearing a big eye patch in the photo.

The 35-year-old veteran wrote in the caption, At the iconic Yankee stadium! Thank you @yankeesfor your hospitality!”

Following a devastating loss in her first UFC fight this year, Tate attended the Yankees game with her bruised face and a big eye patch. Fans couldn’t stop themselves from commenting about her looks in the post.

It doesn’t look like they’re very hospitable! JK hope you heal up after that war champ,” another one wrote. 

One fan who attended the game was next to the UFC fighter. He commented, “God bless my kids and I where sitting right next to you today. Section 129 let’s go Yankees.”

One fan commented, “Man I’m one of your long-time fans and every time your name’s on the fight card I tune in it was hard to watch last fight I wish you the best whether you continue or not you’re a bada** and a role model.”

A fan wrote, “Ronda only hated on her because she was the prettiest girl to grace the octagon.”

“Only a real warrior shows the injuries with proudness,” another fan wrote.

‘Cupcake’ has lost two of her last three bouts since her return in 2021. And there is no information about her next move in the promotion. However, fans hope the former champion returns to her winning in order to stay relevant in the division.
